Providers at the Pediatric Clinic

Karen Kato, MD, joined the Pediatric Clinic after completing her pediatric residency at University of California Irvine Medical Center in 1983. She attended St Louis University School of Medicine, graduating in 1980. Dr. Kato works full time in the office as well as on-call.

Dr. Kato lives in Longview with her husband and enjoys vacationing in Cabo, Mexico where she enjoys fishing. She is fluent in Spanish, enjoys cooking, reading, and knitting.

Daryl Linnell, MD, joined the Pediatric Clinic in 1984. A graduate of Oregon Health Science University, Dr. Linnell completed his pediatric training at Maine Medical Center in 1984.

Dr. Linnell works full time in the office and on-call. Professional interests include ADHD as well as general pediatrics.

Dr. Linnell lives in Kelso with his wife, Tina Linnell, who is a registered nurse at St. John Medical Center. They have three grown children. He also enjoys organic gardening, skiing, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

Michael Kubitz, MD, joined the Pediatric Clinic in 1995. A graduate of Oregon Health Science University, Dr. Kubitz completed his pediatric residency training at the University of Nebraska in 1984. Dr. Kubitz relocated from Coos Bay, Oregon in 1995 where he worked at the North Bend Medical Center. He works part time and on-call.

Dr. Kubitz lives in Kelso with his wife, Rebecca Kubitz, an OB/GYN physician. His extended family includes two son's, Dan and Greg, daughter in law Kamber, and his grandchildren, Zeke and Ariana, . His other interests included bicycling and gardening as well as travel.

Although Dr.Kubitz retired in 2011, he continues to treat our patients under a Locum Tenans agreement.

Erin Harnish, MD, joined the Pediatric Clinic in 1997 after completing her pediatric residency at Children’s National Medical Center, Washington DC. She attended Indiana University School of Medicine, graduating in 1994.

Dr. Harnish works part time in the office and on-call. She actively works with many local organizations in the community to include SAFE KIDS Lower Columbia and Children’s Community Resource.

Dr. Harnish lives in Longview with her husband, Pete, and two son’s, Andrew and Kevin.

Jennifer Saxer, MD, joined the Pediatric Clinic in 2001 after completing her pediatric residency at Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She works part time in the office and on-call.

Dr. Saxer lives in Kelso with her husband Robert, two daughters, Alli and Sarah, and golden retriever, Lucy. Dr. Saxer enjoys reading, walking, cooking and traveling.

Danielle Parrott, MD, joined the Pediatric Clinic in July 2008. She attended Creighton University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at University of Florida Health Science Center.

Dr. Parrott works full time in the office and on-call. She relocated to Longview from Coos Bay, Oregon, where she worked at Bay Clinic for 5 years.

Dr. Parrott lives in Kelso with her husband, Ben Piper and her two daughter's, Zoe and Renae. She enjoys fishing, snow skiing, and spending time with her family.

Danielle R. Parrot M.D.

Lacey Carpenter, PA-C, graduated in May 2009 from University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine with a Physician Assistant degree specializing in Pediatric medicine. She works full time; Monday -Friday.

She Currently lives in Kalama with her husband, daughter Aubree and son Kasen. Her hobbies include outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, as well as reading, cooking, and travel.
